Reformers

luther AN OLD & NEW REFORMER

I would never compare myself to any of the former reformers because almost all of them played with the anti-Semitic fire and got burned.

Luther did not start on the wrong foot, but he ended up on one because he touched God’s anointed in the most vehement and hateful way.

Luther initially preached tolerance towards the Jewish people, convinced that the reason they had never converted to Christianity was that they were discriminated against, or had never heard the Gospel of Christ. However, after his overtures to Jews failed to convince Jewish people to adopt Christianity, he began preaching that the Jews were set in evil, anti-Christian ways, and needed to be expelled from German politics. In his “On the Jews and Their Lies” he repeatedly quotes the words of Jesus in Matthew 12:34, where Jesus called them “a brood of vipers and children of the devil”

Luther was zealous toward the Gospel, and he wanted to protect the people of his homeland from the Jews who he believed would be a harmful influence; since they did not recognize Jesus as their Savior. In Luther’s time, parents had a right and a duty to direct their children’s marriage choices in respect to matters of faith. Likewise, Luther felt a duty to direct his German people to cling to the Jesus the Jews did not accept. It should be noted that church law was superior to civil law in Luther’s day and that law said the penalty of blasphemy was death. When Luther called for the deaths of certain Jews, he was merely asking that the laws that were applied to all other Germans also be applied to the Jews. The Jews were exempt from the church laws that Christians were bound by, most notably the law against charging interest.

Here are Luther’s shocking quotes. A rabid anti-Semite:

“The Jews deserve to be hanged on gallows, seven times higher than ordinary thieves” “We ought to take revenge on the Jews and kill them.” “The blind Jews are truly stupid fools””Now just behold these miserable, blind, and senseless people.””Eject them forever from this country””They are nothing but thieves and robbers””What then shall we do with this damned, rejected race of Jews?””Such a desperate, thoroughly evil, poisonous, and devilish lot are these Jews””They are the real liars and bloodhounds””We are at fault for not slaying them.””I shall give you my sincere advice: first to set fire to their synagogues or schools and to bury and cover with dirt whatever will not burn, so that no man will ever again see a stone or cinder of them.” “Second, I advise that their houses also be razed and destroyed.” “Fifth, I advise that safe-conduct on the highways be abolished completely for the Jews.” “Burn down their synagogues, forbid all that I enumerated earlier, force them to work, and deal harshly with them” “If this does not help we must drive them out like mad dogs” “If I had to baptize a Jew, I would take him to the river Elbe, hang a stone around his neck and push him over with the words `I baptize thee in the name of Abraham’.”

Martin Luther mercilessly and brutally persecuted the Jews.

[1John 4:20]  If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.”

LUTHER CONDONED THE DEATHS OF A 100,000 PEASANTS

The peasants of Germany revolted in 1525 because of their miserable living conditions and were slaughtered at the behest of Martin Luther!

Here is a quote from Luther that will send chills up your spine:

“They should be knocked to pieces, strangled and stabbed, secretly and openly, by everybody who can do it, just as one must kill a mad dog!”

Are these the words of a Christian and of a reformer who’s saved by grace?

Luther therefore paved the way for Hitler and his Nazi hoodlums. This root of evil resides in many to this very day.

[Matthew 3:10] The axe is already laid at the root of the trees; therefore every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

LUTHER ON SIN

All must know about the man who marketed “saved by grace” message and yet indulged in sin just to “spite the devil.” Try to take the devil away from people today and they will fight you over this ‘beloved’ and ‘greatly admired’ horned, long-tailed and hoofed beast of hell (Greek DIABOLOS).

Here are some quotes from Luther which shows that he taught the heresy of Once Saved Always Saved:

“Be a sinner and sin boldly, but believe and rejoice in Christ even more boldly for he is victorious over sin, death, and the world. As long as we are here in this world we have to sin. This life is not a dwelling place of righteousness. No sin will separate us from the lamb, even though we commit fornication and murder a thousand times a day. Whenever the devil harasses you, seek the company of men or drink more, or joke and talk nonsense, or do some other merry thing. Sometimes we must drink more, sport, recreate ourselves, and even sin a little to spite the devil, so that we leave him no place for troubling our consciences with trifles. We are conquered if we try too conscientiously not to sin at all. So when the devil says to you: do not drink, answer him: I will drink, and right freely, just because you tell me not to. The imputation of righteousness we need very much, because we are far from perfect. As long as we have this body, sin will dwell in our flesh. Then, too, we sometimes drive away the holy spirit; we fall into sin, like Peter, David, and other holy men. Nevertheless we may always take recourse to this fact, that our sins are covered, and that God will not lay them to our charge. Sin is not held against us for Christ’s sake. Your sin cannot cast you into hell. No sin can harm me.”

Was Luther even saved? Did he know anything about new birth? Didn’t he read Romans 11? How could this man debase himself so?

[Romans 1:28-32] And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

There is a state of being given over; and most likely that’s what happened to Luther. I think that Luther was given over. Luther fell for the lowest pits of depravity because he believed that we are saved by grace and that anything goes under this belief. Yet, one cannot misinterpret this: [1Corinthians 6:9-10] Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

Another psychological bind is this: when you gain popularity with your preached word; and you prosper (because people were under religious oppression and wanted to be free) you can also get deluded into believing that God actually smiles on you. And that is the test of the righteous. Luther failed this test; he went for the political power, financial and for fame. One says, “If I am so prosperous and famous now; then it must be of God’s doing; therefore I am okay.” Under this mentality everything goes, and in this case, even sin. That’s the delusion of being given over. Yet, that is so base and vulgar. One has no style and class – to say it in worldly terms. There is a tact and etiquette, but even to that hardly no one paid attention to. I can’t stand vulgarity and this base permittivity. My mouth is golden and my life is pure (Jer. 15:19).  Some decency please… A pigsty response makes one … you know. That’s why I say ‘idiots’, ‘imbeciles’, because many of those so-called leaders and founders of “great” religions do not know the way of peace nor what it really entails. They go for the base and that’s why they are given over to their own. Sorry, but that’s what some of us once were.

Read this:  [1Cor. 6:9-11] Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

Hear now what God’s Spirit is saying, and learn wisdom; otherwise you will fall for the same trap; for which a countless many have already fallen. Besides the history of the Europe’s reformers also look at the American history of religion.

There are two forces that will keep you in check: self-criticism and the recognition of the Godly fact as to who the Jew (who wrote the Bible for you) really is today. If you keep these two things in place you will keep your proper equilibrium. And you will never fall; for you will repent when self-criticism kicks in. You will also recognize and accept God’s grace for you when you remind yourself that you did not write the Bible. You will honor and respect those who suffered and died for the preservation of God’s word for you.

John CalvinCALVIN ON KILLING

John Calvin a murderer?

John Calvin in his own words about Michael Servetus:

“If he (Servetus) comes (to Geneva), I shall never let him go out alive if my authority has weight. I hope that the verdict will call for the death penalty.”

In Geneva, on October 27, 1553, Michael Servetus was tied to a stake and was burned slowly to death:

Here is what John Calvin had to say about Michael Servetus after he was burned to death:

“Many people have accused me of such ferocious cruelty that I would like to kill again the man I have destroyed. Not only am I indifferent to their comments, but I rejoice in the fact that they spit in my face.” “Whoever shall now contend that it is unjust to put heretics and blasphemers to death will knowingly and willingly incur their very guilt.”

Sebastian Castellio wrote against what Calvin did to Servetus and he made this tremendous statement:

“To kill a man is not to defend a doctrine. It is to kill a man!”

Castellio paid a great price for standing up to Calvin and whom Calvin hounded and persecuted until his death.

[1John 3:15] Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

In five years, 1542-46, Geneva, with 16,000 inhabitants, had fifty-seven executions and seventy-six a banishment. All these sentences were sanctioned by John Calvin.

The history of the three prominent reformers like Luther, Calvin and Zwingli shows arrogant religious authority, and the turning away from the Gospel of peace. Persecuting others and approving even murder and torture is not of God’s sons but of the ever known first devil Cain.

[1John 3:8; 11-12] the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. (…) For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another; not as Cain, who was of the evil one and slew his brother. And for what reason did he slay him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother’s were righteous.

The same apostle correlated for us the devil as being the first liar and murderer (John 8:44). This is so indisputably clear (with much substance scriptural and logical) that only a fool would disagree. There is so much more to comprehend in the book “Truth & Illusion The Last Reformation.”

THE FINAL TEST

This God ordained reformation is the only true one, which brings peace and not war; gives freedom and not bondage; righteousness and not religiousness. This reformation brings deliverance from the demon of religiousness and its blind indoctrination. Like Jesus, who sent me, I proclaim freedom. I practice freedom and with the word He puts in my mouth I deliver and make the captives go free, for they will love the one who had set them free. They will cling to Him like the Gerasene man who after being set free clung to Jesus.

This is the last reformation, which preparers us for the arrival of our Messiah. A bride without spot or wrinkle, pure and holy that walks on the straight and moral pathways and which passes through the narrow gate that leads to life.

Ulrich ZwingliChrist’s Spirit did not guide Zwingli when he hounded and persecuted his theological opponents. No one has a monopoly on truth and no one can label one as being false, right or wrong, and no one has the right to murder those one disagrees with. Was the council, which dictated the meaning of Holy Scripture for men right?

Was it of God to order a city council to impose death sentences on Zwingli’s opponents and to torture them? Was Zwingli right in opposing the simple Baptist Felix Manz, and having him murdered? Read it about it in the annals of history.)

THE WAY OF PEACE

When John the Baptist was born his father Zacharias being filled with the Holy Spirit prophesied, saying: (…) [Luke 1:79] To shine upon those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

[Isaiah 59:7-8] Their feet run to evil, and they hasten to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity, devastation and destruction are in their highways. They do not know the way of peace, and there is no justice in their tracks; they have made their paths crooked, whoever treads on them does not know peace.

[Isaiah 52:7] How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace.

Again God raises up a peacemaker who won’t fight nor defend his own doctrines for he has none. He won’t  fight, oppress or destroy but liberate.

[Isaiah 42:3] A bruised reed He will not break and a dimly burning wick he will not extinguish; he will faithfully bring forth justice.

Jesus the chief peacemaker who like a lamb was led to the slaughter did not open His mouth in self-defense. He paid the price for this astoundingly mighty knowledge of the heavenly peace. It is His peace and not as this world gives (John 14:27) His peace comes from the realm of the perfect peace and perfect love. This peace is not found in man’s preposterous doctrines of heavenly plots, attempts to overthrow God, rebellions, expulsions of Lucifer, fallen angels… doom and gloom, heavenly wars… Oppression!!! Then comes hell and eternal damnation… Fear of hell supposed to drive people to heaven. – Not to heaven, but rather to one’s own church, and when one leaves that church such is damned and expelled from God’s grace forever. What sort of a religion is this? Are you still in it? Hoarding sheep into a stall is not what Jesus asked Peter to do (John 21:15-17); did He? He said MY sheep and not your sheep.

I have been sent to deliver people from slavery to man’s indoctrinations.

  1. It is terrible to see how a person starts well, and then ends in his own delusion. The reform Luther‘s ended as so many attempts to make this world better in a dictatorship, in this case in a dictatorship of theology. This man-made theology raises itself above God, because a (in his heart hardened) blind reformer made this theology untouchable – sakrosanct and hard. And he hit those, who had received and preserved the Word of God for us. In my innermost, I realized that Luther’s reform did not go far enough.

But,with the ONE, the OLMIGHTY we can talk. HE is not a dictator, He rules us with love. As Isajah spoke: Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

I always thought, that we have to go back to the origin, the source, where the water is fresh and pure. Back to Jesus, in Him we leave and move, in Him we are one! Well, our calling is not to be a judge, but a doer of His Word. It says to us: Love one another and serve one another. Very simple and true. Only peacemakers are able to practice this kind of love. To practice this love, we have to be reformed in our mind. The rulership in our hearts must be also changed. Our heart is like a kingdom. The question is: Who rules this kingdom?

God calls us today like in the days of Joel: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. This is the straight way back to HIM!

It is a great challenge for the peacemakers to go with that message into the communities and churches. They are ambassadors of peace that comes from God. Let us be bold and go! It is worth to go!

    TO HIS GLORY!

    • We must part with the old legacy, which Protestants inherited. Catholics and the reformers – who sought the truth and received much grace – both tortured and killed people in the name of a doctrine labeling anything new as being outright false.

Thank God that we live in different times. Yet, the same spirit still exists not only in Europe, but also very much in America the land of freedom. It all makes me sick to my stomach.

Someone wrote, “I saw that for inspirational people you placed photos of Kenneth Hagin and Benny Hinn among Billy Graham on your Facebook. I am shocked.” I said, “It is not the healthy that need healing.”

Some come earlier, others come later. All carry particles of truth, but for the way the they have handled it they will eventually be judged.
